2008 Entertainment

• DiamondBack: Four multi-talented musicians well known for always learning the "new stuff" light up the stage for your listening enjoyment.  The band plays a wide variety of music that people of all ages can enjoy.  Artists include Garth Brooks, Toby Keith, John Mellencamp, Keith Urban, The Steve Miller Band, Johnny Cash, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Metallica, just to name a few.  DiamondBack performance will be from 10:20pm to Midnight.   
• Southbound: Local area band that will start out the night.
• St. Cloud Municipal Band: Playing in Hester Park starting at 8pm leading up to Fireworks.

Fireworks

• St. Cloud American Legion Post 76 presents St. Cloud and Central Minnesota’s Fourth of July Fireworks Display. 2008 is the 61st year the Post 76 has organized and sponsored the area’s July 4th Fireworks. The 2008 Fireworks Display is scheduled to be the largest pyrotechnics display in Central Minnesota on July 4th.
  
  
• For the third year in a row Fireworks will be launched from barges in the Mississippi River between Hester and Wilson Parks, beginning at 10pm on July 4th.  
  
  
• Our Fireworks show will be synchronized to specially selected music soundtrack. Great viewing areas will be available on both sides of the Mississippi River, in Wilson and Hester Parks, along 5th Avenue North, and other parts of the community.
  
  
• Melrose Pyrotechnics, Inc. - an International award winning professional pyrotechnic display company is the producer for St. Cloud’s Fourth of July Fireworks Spectacular.
